2023 Shiba National Specialty - Rapid City, SD

While we are unable to offer 'Shiba only' trials at this National, NSCA will recognize and support the accomplishments of those Shibas and their handlers competing in the following events, with prizes as listed below.

NSCA will consider the results from the Orlando Dog Training Club Obedience & Rally Trials on Thursday, December 14, 2017 as the NSCA 2017 National Specialty Obedience & Rally Trials and will award prizes at the NSCA Awards Dinner, Friday, December 15, 2017. — NOTE: Susan Gordon, trial secretary. Separate premium.

• Prizes:
  • High Scoring Shiba in Regular Obedience *
  • High Scoring Shiba in Regular Rally *
  • High Scoring Shiba in Combined Obedience *
  • High Scoring Shiba in Combined Rally *
  NSCA Commemorative Rosette, $35 cash and 5”x7” picture frame with NSCA logo.

 

NSCA will also celebrate the accomplishments of Shibas competing in AKC events December 15-17 with prizes to be awarded at the completion of the events.

• AKC 2017 Agility Invitational (December 15-17):
  • High Scoring Shiba in Agility (cumulative) *
  NSCA Commemorative Rosette, $35 cash and 5”x7” picture frame with NSCA logo. In addition, NSCA is sponsoring an AKC medallion awarded to the High Scoring Shiba in Agility (cumulative)
• AKC Juniors Agility Competition (December 15, 2017):
  • High Score by a Junior handling a Shiba *
  NSCA Commemorative Rosette and 5”x7” picture frame with NSCA logo.
• AKC Obedience Classic October 21-23:
  • High Scoring Shiba in Regular Obedience *
    (single highest score from any one ring at the conclusion of the events)
  NSCA Commemorative Rosette and 5”x7” picture frame with NSCA logo. In addition, NSCA is sponsoring an AKC medallion awarded to the High Scoring Shiba in Regular Obedience, (single highest score from any one ring at the conclusion of the events)
• AKC Junior Obedience Classic October 21-23:
  • High Score by a Junior handling a Shiba *
  Commemorative Rosette and 5”x7” picture frame with NSCA logo.

 

All Shiba dog/handler teams in ODTC Trials Thursday, December 14, 2017, AKC Obedience Classic and Junior Obedience Classic (October 21-23, 2017), and AKC Agility Invitational Agility Trials receive an NSCA medallion.
